The Next Page Workshops for Reinventing Retirement

Retirement may not be a four-letter word but sometimes it feels like it—especially in these uncertain times. So it's not surprising that so many women 50+ are nervous and filled with questions.

How long should I continue working fulltime?  Can I develop a more flexible work schedule?  How would I spend my time if I didn't work? Can I put my skills to use in another area?  How can I keep from depleting my retirement savings?  Where's the best place to live?  What if my partner and I don't see eye-to-eye on retirement?

Next Page Workshops help you assess the possibilities and options of life's next stage.  It's an exciting process, giving you a richer insight into your own talents and practical, creative ways for reinventing retirement so that it's fulfilling, fun, and financially sound.

The next workshop is a weekend retreat at the Beekman Inn in New York's Hudson Valley, Friday evening January 17 to Sunday afternoon, January 19, 2003.  If this charming inn in Rhinebeck doesn't evoke insights and enthusiasm for the venture and adventure of life's next stage, nothing will.

You'll stay in a lovely room with a fireplace and private bath, have dinner at the Culinary Institute of America, enjoy continental breakfasts, and engage in the program.  Rates are $690 per person in a double room; $775 per person in a single room.

Contact workshop directors, Pat Estess (pgestess@aol.com) or Marjorie Long (marjlong21@aol.com ).

Wendy Mackowski, CPCC, MA

Charting Your Course to Authentic Success

When you describe your life, do you use words such as joyous, exciting, fulfilling, fun?  If not, why not?   Are you living your big dream now or is it floating around in your head under the  “someday” category?  If not now, then when?

What if you had someone that would work with you to bring that vision into clarity and help you create concrete steps towards making it happen in your life right now?  Someone you could use as an impartial listener, who would accept who you are now, and also help you see the part of yourself that maybe you’ve forgotten.  Someone who would stand with you as you move towards your highest potential and dreams.

The process of Co-Active Coaching is a method in which you and I collaborate together to help you define values, clarify a vision of what you want your life to look like, and create and sustain life-changing results that move you closer to more fulfillment and balance in your life.  As your coach, I offer a safe, non-judgmental place for change to happen.

Coaching can be done from anywhere. It consists of half-hour telephone sessions several times a month and unlimited e-mails when desired. It can be worked into the busiest schedule.
