Mark Wolfinger, author of The Short Book on Options: A Conservative Strategy for the Buy and Hold Investor, has been in the options business since 1977.  His experience as a member of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) made him recognize that the public investor has the opportunity to use stock options as a conservative investment tool, but that too few take advantage of that opportunity.

His book is aimed at the investor who wants more from her portfolio: more Safety and more Profitability.

In easy-to-understand language, the book guides the reader through the basics of options:  What is an option?   How does an option work?  Then, one conservative strategy is taught in detail.

The book is available through his Web site, http://www.mdwoptions.com/; from the publisher (888-280-7715), or it can be ordered at any bookstore.

Mr. Wolfinger is available for small group seminars, offering an “Introduction to Stock Options.” For more information, visit www.mdwoptions.com or e-mail him at mark@mdwoptions.com
