Opening Exhibit Reception, Girls Gotta Run Foundation
Exhibit. This exhibit was organized to raise money to buy
shoes for Ethiopian girls who are training to be professional
runners in order to avoid being forced into early marriage. It
features art about shoes and information about the status of
girls and women in Ethiopia. The artwork is for sale by silent
auction, with participating artists donating at least 50 percent
of any sale. General donations will also be accepted. Time: 7
